Mr. James Hoi-Fan Lam
DIRECTOR AND GENERAL MANAGER
Mr. Lam has over 22 years of experience in ground investigation projects management, joined DrilTech since 1997 and promoted as Director and General Manager in 2019. Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Construction Association. Works Bureau Approved Site Agent and Geotechnical Engineer. Buildings Ordinance (Technical Director) for the Foundation and Ground Investigation Works Category. Responsible for coordinate and manage all business operations, develop strategies to improve overall quality and productivity and ensure that employees follow company policies and procedures. Aims to expand business through regularly visit the manufacturers, investment on new machineries and adopting new technologies. Liaison with relevant government parties and continuously provide technical support and advice on regulations of the industry for improvement.
Mr. Man-Fu Tang
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
Mr. Tang, has been the senior construction manager of our Group since September 2013. He is the Deputy Head of DrilTech and primarily responsible for site management and implementation of foundation construction and ancillary services projects of our Group.Mr. Tang has over twenty-five years of experience in project and site management. He obtained a Master’s degree in Project Management from The University of South Australia in April 2004 and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in November 2010. He was admitted as a member of Australian Institute of Project Management in November 2004. Mr. Tang joined our Group as a site agent in January 2000.
Mr. Alex Siu-Wah Chu
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (SITE INVESTIGATION)
Mr. Chu has over 25 years of experience in ground investigation projects management, joined DrilTech in 2003 and is a Works Bureau Approved Site Agent and Geotechnical Engineer. Buildings Ordinance (Authorized Signatory) for Ground Investigation Works Category. In charge of tendering department, responsible in manage and monitor the overall performance of the tender process to obtain maximum efficiency, quality and service deliver to our clients. Reviewing the specification, obligation and statutory requirement of the contracts and advice the project manager before commence of works. Aims in further development on alternative quantitative methods for producing the most competitive strategy in DrilTech’s tendering where multiple selection criteria are adopted.
Mr. Ken Siu-Kong Li
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (SITE INVESTIGATION)
Mr. Li has over 20 years of experience in ground investigation projects management, joined DrilTech in 2000 and is a Works Bureau Approved Site Agent and Geotechnical Engineer. In charge of directional drilling project, especially the Cross-Island MRT tunnel project in Singapore and various CEDD ground investigation term contracts. Experience in developing multi-technique approach for specific slope and remote site conditions for ground investigation projects. Responsible for planning and logistics, safety and environment management and quality control of works. Participates in the development, implementation and auditing of the company quality management system and provide training to staff on the latest technologies on direction drilling.
Mr. Gerry Wang-Hing Leung
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (SITE INVESTIGATION)
Mr. Leung has over 20 years of experience in ground investigation projects management, joined DrilTech in 2000 and is a Works Bureau Approved Site Agent and Geotechnical Engineer. In charge of foundation drilling and ground investigation projects. Experience in ground investigation and foundation pre-drilling, interface and proof drilling projects. Perform key role in project planning and oversee all phases of the project timeline. Prepare progress reports and method statement proposal to improve quality of drilling for various ground conditions. Reinforces the compliance of safety regulations, quality controls and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Mr. Clement Ho-Pui Lun
SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER (SITE INVESTIGATION)
Over 30 years’ experience in site investigation projects, I have joined DrilTech in 2005. Glad to be involved in several significant mega projects such as Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station, and recently Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, MTR lines and Express Link Projects. Having been a visiting lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for 6 years, I was delighted to be able to share my experiences with young engineers and professionals in the quality assurance in Site Investigation Projects. My technical expertise mainly focus on identifying the critical issues in the work projects, providing advice on the geological complexity on sites. Working along with clients to discuss and define project scope and successful completion of projects. My mission is to work with our team for further technical improvement, to exchange innovative technology knowledge with relevant government parties so as to achieve a sustainable and diversified development for DrilTech in the field of site investigation.
